Annie Lennox
Annie Lennox's parents are Dorothy Fharquharson as well as Thomas Allison Lennox. Dorothy Farquharson, and Thomas Allison Lennox were her parents. Lennox took classes in piano, flute and harpsichord at the Royal Academy of Music London for three years throughout the 1970s. She survived on a student allowance and worked part-time to supplement her budget. Lennox was of the opinion that her talents weren't as good as those of her Royal Academy classmates. So she began thinking about other paths she could take. Lennox played the flute in the band Dragons Playground. But she quit prior to the group's appearance to I.T.V.s talent contest New Faces. From 1977 to 1980 she was singer-songwriter for The Tourists, a British Pop group. The band was where she met Dave Stewart and together they created their duo Eurythmics. Lennox then began to work on her debut solo album Diva that was out around 1992. The album received a lot of praise both from the press and critics. Nostalgia Lennoxs Sixth Solo Album debuted on October 31, 2014. The C.D. The C.D. is comprised of Lennox's favourite blues, jazz and soul songs from her youth. Lepidoptera is a compilation of four tracks that she improvised for piano, which Lennox has released in May 2019. The E.P. This is the companion album to her Now I let the door open... artwork that was exhibited at the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art. This is also her first independent album. Annie Lennox, born on December 25, 1954 in Scotland, is a philanthropist as well as a an activist in the political arena. She also sings. At the end of the 70s, she gained a little fame when members in The Tourists. She and Dave Stewart then gained international notoriety in the 80s under the name Eurythmics. Lennox began her own solo career when she released her debut album Diva in 1992. It was the basis of several hit songs, including"Why" and "Walking on Broken Glass.
