Lesley-Ann Brandt was born Cape Town in South African on the 2nd of December, 1981. Model and actress best known for her roles in television and film. After beginning her acting career through The New Zealand sitcom Diplomatic Immunity Brandt's American debut came in the form of her second role, playing Naevia in the drama of the same name, Spartacus: Blood and Sand. The actress was a part of numerous television series in the past decade, including Spartacus: Gods of the Arena CSI: NY Single Ladies as well as The Librarians. Brandt plays the role Mazikeen on the popular urban fantasy series Lucifer, which stars Tom Ellis Lauren German Kevin Alejandro. Brandt was was raised in Cape Town South Africa and then moved from Cape Town to Auckland New Zealand with her family as a teenager. She began her career as a model by appearing in commercials and print ads. Before her rise to fame as a model she was employed in sales at retail as well as being an information technology recruitment consultant. In 2009 she was cast on the New Zealand television sitcom called Diplomatic Immunity as Leilani. In 2021, she had her first big appearance in Spartacus Blood and Sand on Starz. She played a slave girl, Naevia. As well, she has reprised the Naevia character in the miniseries that predates Spartacus Gods of the Arena. Co-starring with Craig Parker. Craig Parker in three different TV series: Diplomatic Immunity (2009) Spartacus (2010) and Legend of the Seeker (2008). In 2016, she began playing the role of a bounty hunter named Mazikeen on the Netflix series Lucifer. This is her biggest role to date. In this show, she is co-starring alongside Tom Ellis Lauren german Kevin Alejandro D. B. Woodside.
