Dakota Blue Richards is an English actress known for portraying Lyra Belacqua from the film The Golden Compass and Franky Fitzgerald as part of the third generation of actors in British teenager drama 'Skins'. She also has a long history of performing on stage in stage plays like 'Arcadia' and A Streetcar Named Desire. Richards was a Londoner at birth, grew up on her home on the Sussex coast.
